Senior Front-End Developer (Vue.js) at Vellmont Advisory Ltd

About NestVest

1. NestVest is a technology-driven real estate sales, leasing and investment advisory platform in Nairobi. We are building a fast, reliable property website and customer-facing digital products that connect buyers, renters and investors with curated listings, project pages and enquiry tools.

Role Purpose

1. Build and maintain NestVest's property website and customer-facing digital products, including property listings, project pages, search and enquiry flows. Work closely with our Backend/Technical Lead to deliver a polished, high-performance product end to end.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build responsive, mobile-first pages using Vue.js (Vue 3 / Composition API)
2. Develop property listing, search/filter, property detail, project and landing pages
3. Connect front-end pages to existing backend APIs, CRM and lead-capture workflows
4. Implement and test forms, WhatsApp links and other enquiry actions
5. Improve loading speed, usability, accessibility and front-end reliability
6. Fix bugs, review code and document technical handovers
7. Work from approved product requirements and UI designs
8. Coordinate requirements and release work through the Product / Delivery Manager

Minimum Requirements

1. Strong, production-level Vue.js skills (Vue 3, Composition API, Pinia/Vuex, Vue Router) — this is the core requirement
2. At least 4 years of professional front-end development experience
3. Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
4. Experience integrating REST APIs and managing validation, errors and loading states
5. Experience building responsive, data-driven websites
6. Git experience and ability to work with an existing codebase
7. Understanding of web performance, technical SEO basics and browser compatibility
8. A portfolio or links to live projects showing your personal contribution (required)

Nice-to-Have (bonus, not required)

1. React / Next.js
2. TypeScript
3. Backend basics (Node.js, PHP, etc.)
4. UI/UX or design sensibility
